Happy Holidays!!

Happy Holidays!

The most festive and happiest time of the year. My favorite time to decorate and this year I started early. I normally wait until after Thanksgiving to start but somehow was in the spirit early and started mixing in some greenery, bows and bells a bit early this year.

But then, we got the tree and I really to town!! Yippeee!!

Those who know me personally, know that we have been renovating the home we bought for the past 14 years and we are still not finished. So I am limited as to where I can decorate. The livingroom isn't quite finished, still awaiting new carpeting, a fireplace, bookshelves, trim around the bow window we put in and a cushion to fit the window seat there. However, while that window seat remains empty, I transform it into a Christmas village display filled with treasures I've collected or been given as gifts over the years.

My husband Gary, gave me this Charles Dickens Christmas Carol lighted music box as a Christmas present one year. It's one of my favorite's in my collection of music boxes. I display it every Christmas and love hearing it play "We Wish You A Merry Christmas"

My late Mother-In-Law used to crochet a lot and made many beautiful things for me over the years including these adorable Santa and Mrs. Claus dolls. She also made me 2 tree skirts and doilies which I use every Christmas as well, I really treasure them.

And then of course..........

I cover everything up by putting the tree in front of it all! I'll post pictures of my decorated tree with the presents later when I get a chance. Can't wait to get those bookshelves built so I can move my display there.

Please visit all my shops for my huge end of year clearance sale 40% off every shop!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

    1. Yeah I leave it up till after New Year's so plenty of time for them to see it, I took those pics early in the morning so you could see it lit up, at first it was too dark had to wait for the sun to come up a bit. I'm sure you would do a much better job with the photos!
